We've attempted to start the landscaping...

In that spirit, the Hanson's came down and brought their tiller. You can see here Karl working hard to till up the front yard. The soil is mostly clay, and we hadn't had rain for weeks, so it was practically concrete. Karl and dad took turns it was such hard work! In the background just in front of Karl you can see our only tree, its an Indian Magic Crab Apple tree, a gift from Kari. Since then we've added a little edging and some woodchips. We finally got a good rain so we were able to get into the ground to dig a decent trench for the edging. It's starting to look more like a yard, but barely!
